Israeli airstrikes targeted a multi-star building on the outskirts of Beirut, the outskirts of Lebanon’s capital early on Tuesday, Al Mayaden reported.
The preliminary deaths reported by Lebanon’s Ministry of Health revealed that three civilians were marching and four others were injured as a result of the strike. Updated numbers raised the number of injured to seven on Tuesday morning, saying one of their martyrs was a woman.
The strike took place without previous warnings from “Israel” and instead was carried out based on information issued by Israel’s Singh BET inside intelligence agency.
The occupying regime’s military and Singh Bett claimed their strike targeted the senior figures of Hezbollah, but sources from Al Mayaden confirmed that one of the strike victims was a regular party member rather than a leader.
Lebanon President Joseph Aoun denounced Israeli air raids and called it a “serious warning of hostility” against Lebanon, the IRNA reported.
“Israel’s tenacity in aggression requires more effort from us to speak to our Lebanese friends around the world and to rally them together to support our right to full sovereignty over our land,” Aoun said in a statement.
“This attack on the outskirts of Beirut is the second time since the agreement on November 26th, and constitutes a serious warning of hostile intentions against Lebanon,” he said.
