Israeli forces killed several Palestinians in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, despite a new ceasefire agreement that took effect across the strip, according to Cradle newspaper.
According to Palestinian media reports, a total of nine Palestinians were killed in Israeli ceasefire violations. Three bodies arrived at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, and another six bodies arrived at Baptist Hospital in Gaza City.

Israeli artillery also pounded the areas of Jabalia and al-Tarans, accompanied by gunfire. Shooting incidents were also reported in the al-Tariya area of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza.
In addition, a group of young men were targeted by Israeli forces near al-Fukhari, east of Khan Yunis, leaving one person dead.
Israeli forces announced on Tuesday that they had killed five Palestinians. Israel announced it had crossed the yellow line for withdrawal as part of the initial withdrawal map outlined in the cease-fire agreement.
The military said it acted to “eliminate the threat” and claimed the Palestinians had refused to disperse.
The Israeli military called on Gaza residents to “obey instructions and stay away from troops deployed in the area,” the statement added.
A report by DropSite News published on October 13 revealed that the Israeli military carried out a planned arson campaign across Gaza City immediately after the ceasefire was declared.
According to the investigation, soldiers from the Golani, Givati, Nahal, Kfir, and newly established ultra-Orthodox Hashmonaim Brigades set fire to homes, shops, and infrastructure as they retreated from the city on October 9-10.
As part of the first withdrawal, Israeli forces withdrew from populated areas in Gaza.
The map does not envisage a complete Israeli withdrawal, with the final stage being a withdrawal towards the Gaza border, where a buffer zone will be established until the Gaza Strip is “free of terrorism.”
Tuesday’s attack in Gaza came shortly after the bodies of four Israeli prisoners killed by Hamas were released.
The day before, Tel Aviv accepted all 20 surviving prisoners and released about 2,000 Palestinian prisoners.
The agreement was signed at a summit hosted by Egypt and the US in Sharm el-Sheikh on Monday.
