According to a statement from the ministry, 153 injured people have been transported to hospitals, bringing the number of injuries to 117,792 in the onslaught of Israel.
“Many casualties are still trapped on tile rubs and roads as rescuers are unable to reach them,” Anadolu News Agency added.
The Israeli Army resumed a fatal attack in the Gaza Strip on March 18, killing 2,222 people and injuring more than 5,700 other people in January despite a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement.
Last November, the International Criminal Court issued a warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former defense minister Joab Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Israel is also facing a genocide case in the International Court of Justice due to its war with the enclave.
