Mohsen Rezaei has used X to advise the extraordinary Islamic Arab Summit, scheduled to be held in Qatar’s capital Doha on Sunday, to seriously consider the prospects of such an invasion.
“If the summit does not take practical action in response to the Zionist regime attacks on five Muslim countries and the genocide in Gaza, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Iraq should also expect the regime’s war plane and bombs,” wrote Rezaei.
Rezai, who is also on the Comfort Identification Council, advising leaders of the Islamic Revolution, Ali Khamenei, mentioned the Tel Aviv regime’s attacks on Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Iran and more recently Qatar.
“We must form a military coalition to stand up to the government before it moves one by one against each country in the region,” he added.
The Israeli regime on Tuesday attacked a residential facility in Doha that targeted Hamas leadership. High Hamas officials survived the attack, but five Hamas members and Qatari security guards were killed.
Hamas leaders had met to discuss a deal on a new US proposal to end the war in Gaza that has killed more than 64,803 people since October 2023. Qatar, along with the United States and Egypt, was a mediator of negotiations to end the war.
