Tehran – Hamas performs complex ambush against Israeli occupation forces in Gaza, causing casualties.
The armed wings of Hamas, the Alcasam brigade, conducted complicated ambushings against Israeli occupation forces in the Altafa district, east of Gaza city.
The operation targeted two infantry vehicles and caused casualties.
According to a statement from Al-Qassam Brigades, the fighter struck a D9 military bulldozer with a Merkava 4 tank and a Yassin 105 shell, burning both vehicles.
Additionally, the Alcasam Brigade reported that Israeli Hammer vehicles were struck by anti-tank missiles in the same area, seriously injured two soldiers.
When Israeli rescuers arrived on the scene, it was hit by an explosive device.
One soldier was killed and two others were injured. Israeli forces evacuated the injured via helicopters.
Israeli media reported the death of one soldier and the wounds of four others, two of whom are in serious condition.
The Israeli forces identified the murdered soldier as G’Haleb Sliman Alnasasra, and confirmed that rescuers were also attacked and attacked, and the victims were given.
Meanwhile, the Al-Kud Brigade, an armed wing of Palestinian Islamic jihad, has released footage showing a gathering of Israeli forces in Rafa, southern Gaza, and a mortar and a 107mm rocket attack targeting vehicles.
As Israeli military operations in Gaza continue, the Alcasam Brigade announced that it had recovered the bodies of one of the fighters assigned to protect Israeli-American prisoners and soldier Edan Alexander. The fate of Alexander and the other fighters remains unknown.
Abu Obeida, a spokesman for the Al-Qassam Brigade Force, said efforts to protect prisoners will become increasingly difficult as Israeli artillery fires are putting the lives of Israeli prisoners at risk.
He also accused the Zionist regime of spreading misinformation about the treatment of Hamas in Gaza, and claimed that Tel Aviv had incited hatred against Palestinian resistance fighters and had crafted testimony from former hostages to cover up the killing of Israeli prisoners.
Earlier this week, Abu Obeida said contact with the group defending Alexander was lost after their location was hit by an Israeli airstrike. He added that efforts are underway to reestablish contact.
According to Israel’s proposals recently shared with mediators, Hamas had planned to release Edan Alexander as a goodwill gesture to the United States on the first day of the ceasefire.
