TEHRAN – Esmaille Bagheee, a spokesman for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said the recent actions of the conflict made dialogue pointless, stressing that it is impossible to assert the willingness to coordinate and negotiate actions targeting the genocide regime.
Baghaei declared that “through this criminal act, the regime has crossed all the red lines of Iran.” He added that in addition to contacting the regional countries, Iran has requested an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council.
“We expect all countries involved to condemn this crime,” he said.
He emphasized that the Security Council must take a clear responsibility for the issue and that the necessary mechanisms have been introduced and that it must take seriously the administration’s aggressive actions.
Baghaei said, “The other side has done something that renders dialogue meaningless. At the same time, it cannot be argued that it divides responsibility and allows the genocide regime to target the integrity of Iran’s territory.”
He also said, “I don’t think the administration could have committed such a crime without US approval.”
Baghaei concluded that the Zionist regime has always tried to involve Western parties, but this time it appears to have managed to influence the diplomatic process.
On Friday, June 13, Israel launched a massive military attack on Iran’s Islamic Republic, raising serious concerns over a serious escalation of regional tensions and violations of international law amid ongoing conflict in Gaza.
Israel targeted and attacked Iran’s civil nuclear facilities, resulting in the killing of several senior nuclear scientists and high-ranking military officials.
