Citing sources familiar with the issue, Iran’s Islamic Republic (IRIB) revealed on Saturday that Iran’s intelligence agency had established “a huge amount of strategic and sensitive information and documents belonging to the Zionist regime.”
The national broadcaster said the information includes “thousands of documents relating to the administration’s nuclear program and facilities” if it does not provide details about the content.
The revelation was filled with miscellaneous responses from Israeli media, but the military ministry of the occupying regime was caught up in the matter.
Israeli Channel 12, referring to the IRIB announcement, said Tehran had “successfully” in obtaining and extracting intelligence archives related to Israeli nuclear projects.
Israeli television channels said Iran described the operation as a “painful blow” to the regime, emphasizing that it would include thousands of documents related to Israeli nuclear projects and its facilities.
Citing Lebanon’s Al Mayaden television network, Wala, Israel’s leading news website, said Iran has managed to obtain a vast amount of strategic and sensitive documents and information belonging to Israel.
“The width and quality of the document indicates a major penetration into Israel, and it is expected that their review will take quite a bit of time,” Walla said. “However, Iranian officials are said to be planning to release details and videos on this point in the near future.”
A major news website stressed that the special security committee of the Israeli War Ministry, responsible for the security and protection of Israeli nuclear facilities, had called for “not to comment on these reports” in a call with Wala.
The Hebrew Maarif Daily Newspaper called the event “concern.”
Their news item headline reads, “Concern: Iran stole Israel’s secret nuclear documents.”
Maarib said Iranian intelligence agency was “successfully” by “acquiring thousands of confidential documents related to Israeli nuclear facilities and strategic projects and relocating them to secure a location within Iran.”
Citing the Iranian media and the network of Al Mayaden, Israel Heyom, the daily Israeli Hebrew newspaper, emphasized that documents obtained from Israel contain highly sensitive documents related to Israeli nuclear programmes.
