The Israeli military attack has killed another 119 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip over the past 72 hours, bringing the death toll to 41,391 since October 7 last year, the Palestinian enclave’s health ministry said on Saturday.
A total of 95,760 people have been injured in Israeli attacks since October last year, according to the Anadolu Agency (AA), added in a statement from the ministry.
“Many people are still trapped in tiled rubs and roads because rescuers can’t reach them,” he added.
Israel has continued its brutal attacks on the Gaza Strip following the attack by Palestinian group Hamas on October 7th, despite a UN Security Council resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire.
The continued lockdown in Gaza has left much of the region in abandoned due to severe shortages of food, clean water and medicine.
Israel is facing genocide accusations at the International Court of Justice, and ordered the suspension of military operations in the city of Rafa, where more than 1 million Palestinians were seeking evacuation before the invasion of more than 1 million Palestinians on May 6th.
