The Health Ministry said Friday that at least 65,174 Palestinians were killed in the war of massacres in Israel’s Gaza Strip.
According to a statement from the ministry, 33 bodies have been brought to hospital in the past 24 hours, 146 people have been injured, bringing the number of injuries to 166,071 in the onslaught of Israel, Anadoru’s news agency reported.
“Many victims are still trapped in tile rubs and roads because rescuers can’t reach them,” he added.
The ministry also said that while trying to receive humanitarian aid in the past 24 hours, more than 17 people have been killed, killing the total number of Palestinians while seeking assistance from 2,514, and that more than 18,431 have been injured since May 27.
The ministry said four more Palestinians, including children, have died of malnutrition and starvation in the past 24 hours. This has resulted in hunger-related deaths to 440 people, including 147 children, since October 2023.
Since March 2, Israeli authorities have completely closed all Gaza border crossings, pushing the territory’s 2.4 million population into hunger.
Hunger is confirmed in northern Gaza and is projected to expand to Deial Bala and Khan Yunis in central and southern Gaza by the end of September, according to the integrated food security stage classification (IPC).
Since the IPC declared starvation in Gaza, 162 people have died of starvation, including 32 children, the ministry added.
The Israeli Army resumed its attack on the Gaza Strip on March 18, then killed 12,622 people, wounded 54,030 people, and shattered the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement in January.
Last November, the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former war minister Joab Gallant.
