The Ministry of Health said Tuesday that at least 62,064 Palestinians were killed in the Israeli massacre war in the Gaza Strip.
According to Anadolu News Agency, in a daily update, the ministry said 60 people have been killed in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of injured people to 156,573.
The ministry also reported three new deaths from starvation and malnutrition, increasing the total number of starvation-related deaths to 266 from October 2023, including 112 children.
In Gaza, rescue efforts have been severely hampered as many casualties are still trapped under the tiled rub or lying on the streets, and emergency teams are unable to reach them due to merciless Israeli artillery fire and lack of equipment.
Since March 18, when Israel resumed its military campaign after breaching the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement, the ministry said 10,518 Palestinians have been killed and 44,532 have been injured.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces still target Palestinians seeking access to humanitarian aid. According to the ministry, 31 people have been killed and 197 have been injured in such attacks over the past 24 hours.
Since May 27, Israeli forces have killed 1,996 Palestinians and injured another 14,898 while desperately trying to secure the food and supplies they needed.
The complete lockdown in Gaza from early March put the 2.4 million residents of Enclave on the verge of collapse amid hunger, disease outbreaks and essential infrastructure destruction.
Last November, the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defence Minister Joab Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Israel is also facing a genocide case at the International Court of Justice regarding its continued attack on the enclave.
