The Ministry of Health said Friday that at least 54,321 Palestinians had been killed in the Israeli war of massacre.
According to a statement from the ministry, 72 bodies have been brought to hospitals in the past 24 hours, 278 people have been injured and the number of injuries has been brought to 123,770 in the onslaught of Israel, Anadoru’s news agency reported.
Many casualties are still trapped in tile rubs and roads as rescuers cannot reach it, it added.
Israel resumed its attacks on the Gaza Strip on March 18th, waiving the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement in January.
While mercilessly deadly shelling intensifies in Gaza, the UN and aid agencies say families are starving and denies basic means of survival.
Last November, the International Criminal Court issued a warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former defense minister Joab Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Israel is also facing a genocide case in the International Court of Justice due to its war with the enclave.
