In a phone conversation with Turkish counterpart Receptacle Tayyip Erdogan on Monday, Pezeschkian said his country would not be an initiator of the war, but rather respond to heinous crimes as a level of attacking the heinous crimes of the Zionist regime.
Returning to the nuclear negotiation table with the US is only possible if the Zionist regime’s invasion of regional countries is stopped, Pezeschkian emphasized.
He said this is why the country participated in nuclear negotiations with the United States, as Iran wanted peace, adding that Iran has proven serious decisions to reach an agreement within the framework of international law and regulatory.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Pezeshkian mentions the crimes of the Zionist regime, which martializes Iranian civilians, scientists and military officials, emphasizing that Iran did not start a war but responds to Zionist crimes at the level they attack, and is responded to the same level.
Iran is not trying to expand the war, but will respond to attacks on Iranian soil in a disappointing way, Pezeshkian emphasized.
The Turkish president has presented his side with a report of yesterday’s telephone conversations between President Donald Trump and his Iranian counterparts, adding that Israel must first stop the attack, and that Iran and the United States must resume nuclear talks.
