According to Lebanon’s official National News Agency (NNA), Israeli fighters have launched multiple raids on the height of the mountain range and the area of the Barbeck district of East Lebanon.
Israeli military aircraft launched numerous airstrikes on targets in the Iklim Altaffa region of southern Lebanon at around 10:35pm (2035 GMT) on Thursday.
According to local sources, Israeli airstrikes targeted the towns of Azeze and Lumin and areas near Wadi al Zarani.
Additionally, Israeli fighters bombed the Bekaa Valley in eastern Lebanon, near the border with Syria.
Before the airstrikes, Israeli aircraft were conducting intensive low-altitude flights in Rashaya and the towns of Bekaa in the western part of the city.
Additionally, they flew through the cities of Elmer and North Bekaa in eastern Lebanon. They were also seen in the capital, Beirut and its suburbs.
Israel was forced to accept a ceasefire in the Hezbollah Resistance movement after nearly 14 months of fighting, failing to achieve its targets in an attack on Lebanon. The ceasefire agreement came into effect on November 27th.
However, since the start of the agreement, occupying forces have been carrying out almost a day’s attack on Lebanon in violation of ceasefires, including airstrikes across the Arab state.
On January 10, Lebanon complained to the UN Security Council about Israel’s attacks on farmland and livestock in the country’s southern part of the country, contrary to the armistice agreement.
Hezbollah held the Lebanese government responsible to ensure the full withdrawal of Israeli forces from southern Lebanon.
Lebanon will extend its ceasefire contract with Israel until February 18th, despite the failure of Israeli forces to meet deadlines for withdrawal of its troops and killing nearly 20 people in the south on January 27th. He said he agreed to this.
