Israeli warplanes launched a series of airstrikes targeting al-Mahmoudiyah in southern Lebanon, Al-Manar correspondent said in a report early Monday.
The same correspondent also reported on a series of Israeli attacks on the eastern mountains, followed by an Israeli drone attack on a car in Hermel, northeast Lebanon.
In the afternoon, Al-Manar newspaper reported that Israel had declared a new airstrike targeting the Al-Jarmak area in southern Lebanon.
The Zionist regime has stepped up attacks on southern Lebanon in recent weeks, in violation of last year’s ceasefire, to pressure the Lebanese government to press ahead with plans to disarm the Hezbollah resistance.
Hezbollah pledged to keep its arms and called on the Lebanese government not to fall into the trap set by the US and Israeli regimes that would leave Lebanon defenseless in the face of invasion.
The Lebanese resistance has vigorously defended its territory for more than two decades.
