Citing Israeli Air Force sources, Israeli newspaper Maarib said Wednesday that Israeli fighter jets had been sent to carry out operations against Iran.
The report said some pilots have turned their eyes to the Gaza Combat Control Room and proposed dropping unused ammunition to “support” occupying forces in the northern Gaza Strip and southern Khanyunis provinces, the report said.
He added that the pilot’s proposal was welcomed and “everyday” with Israeli Air Force Commander Major General Tomaver, directing the administration’s forces to expand the initiative to all squadrons and make it a protocol.
The report states that during the course of the attack on Iran against Iran between June 13 and 24, dozens of fighters returning to the occupied territories flew through Gaza, dropping hundreds of ammunition there.
“Instead of scrambling the plane from the ground to carry out the strike, the planes that were already in the air ran the mission,” said an Israeli Air Force official.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces have admitted that Gaza was hit by a wave of intense airstrikes during last month’s attack on Iran.
Palestinian health officials also said over 800 people were killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza during the regime’s 12-day attack on Iran.
Israel unleashed the brutal onslaught of Gaza on October 7, 2023, after Palestinian Hamas Resistance Group carried out historic operations against occupation groups in retaliation for the intensified atrocities against the Palestinians by the regime.
The Tel Aviv regime failed to achieve its declared purpose of eliminating Hamas and releasing prisoners in Gaza, despite killing 57,012 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and wounding 134,592 people.
A new study brings the death toll from Israeli attacks on Gaza to about 100,000.
