He made the remarks in a speech at the 34th Arab National Congress in Beirut, the Lebanese capital, stressing that Israel openly aims to “reshape the Middle East” and establish a Greater Israel.
He pointed out that some countries in the Arab world continue to be oblivious and avoid responsibility amid Israel’s two-year invasion of innocent Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
Turning to the disarmament of Lebanon’s Hezbollah resistance movement, Al-Houthi noted that the Zionist enemy seeks to disarm the Hezbollah forces defending Lebanon and eliminate any obstacles to its control over the Gaza Strip.
He stressed that the United States and Western supporters of Israel are pursuing the same goal of transforming the region.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the Yemeni leader referred to the Zionist regime’s expansionist plans and the so-called “Greater Israel” plan, and said the role of the logistics front in the two years of fighting in the Gaza Strip had been impressive.
He said Yemeni forces carried out 1,830 operations using missiles, drones and warships in support of Gaza, adding that 228 enemy vessels were targeted by Yemeni forces during naval operations.
