TEHRAN – In preparation for indirect nuclear negotiations between Iran and the US to resume Sunday, the Iranian security chief argued that ongoing negotiations with Washington are “unpredictable,” underscoring progress in talks that “we are grossed by the US actions.”
His comments came alongside fierce criticism from top Iranian diplomats. He noted that the Israeli regime is using “desperate counterfeiting” through Fox News and “desperate counterfeiting” on diplomats who blocked unreliable Mujahedin-E-KHALQ (MEK) terrorist groups.
Addressing the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard and commander of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Akbar Ahmadian declared on Thursday that Tehran would remain negotiated.
He warned that while the outcome of the consultations remains “unpredictable”, Iran has refused to be involved under forced care. “Entering discussions on an equal footing without threat is the only way worthy of the dignity and rationality of international issues,” he said.
The warning coincides with Fox News, reporting claims from MEK, the designated terrorist group responsible for the deaths of thousands of civilians, previously side by side with Saddam Hussein during the Iranian invasion.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragci has dismissed the claim as “desperate counterfeiting” organized by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
“Exposed as his credibility and sabotage in the batter, Netanyahu has turned his eyes to both old and new socks dolls. This time we’re using Saddam’s Iranian henchman,” Araguchi writes about X, referring to Mek’s collaboration with Saddam’s regime. “Levelling a cult just conveys total despair.”
Branding terrorist organizations by the United States until 2012, MEK has recorded decades of record violence against Iranian civilians, oppositional repression within its ranks, and opportunistic alliances with anti-Iranian spy agencies.
Iran’s UN mission denounces Fox News for amplifying the group’s “absurd reports” and shopped the media when the falsehood is exposed after MEK said it would “provide the Western intelligence reporting agency with manufactured findings.”
The so-called “rainbow site” allegations show the latest in Israel-linked patterns of sabotage. Accused of acting as a proxy for Mossad and Western intelligence agency, MEK has repeatedly emerged with sensational claims during a period of important diplomacy.
Tel Aviv’s Occlusionist Playbook
The Netanyahu government has long opposed Iran and the US diplomacy, employing assassinations, cyberattacks and disinformation to derail.
Recent reports suggest that even the Trump administration may be unhappy with Israel’s overreach.
Netanyahu reportedly was caught off guard by Trump’s ceasefire with Yemen’s Ansalala.
The Israeli military media outlet, feeling neglected and manipulated, claimed that Trump had cut contact with Netanyahu, accusing him and his companions of rog arrogance, and attempted to push the president away.
A close aide told Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dahmer there was nothing more infuriating Trump than it appears to be easily manipulated in public places.
National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard had already confirmed in the annual Intelligence Evaluation that Iran had neither built nor intended to build a nuclear bomb.
In a recent interview, she appears to be criticizing neoconservatives and the obstruction of the Israeli regime, declaring that “you are co-selected for a military-industrial complex, and abused the position of feeding and manipulating intelligence agents, as we saw in the Iraq War, and are abused to launch a new war.”
