This Persian-language book, published by Iran’s Sule Mehr Publishing, focuses on the contributions of al-Muhandis, born in Iraq on November 16, 1954, to anti-imperialism and anti-terrorism.
This artwork shows his courage and dedication, as well as the personal sacrifices he made in the fight against oppression.
The story also explores al-Muhandis’ leadership qualities, his ability to inspire loyalty, and the bonds formed within the resistance front. Individual and national identity are central themes, reflecting how this struggle shaped the identities of the combatants and their communities.
Additionally, the book contextualizes al-Muhandis’ life within the historical and geopolitical context of the region, explaining the events that influenced the resistance movement.
He was martyred at Baghdad International Airport along with Hajj Qassem Soleimani. Al-Muhandis was a key figure in the Islamic resistance movement and played a key role in fighting terrorism and protecting local populations.
Based on extensive interviews and research, “Jamal” provides a detailed portrait of al-Muhandis’s life from his childhood to his revolutionary efforts, and explores his battlefield persona and his character beyond combat. It captures both.
