Speaking at the annual conference on Iran’s capital market entitled “Resilience, Innovation and Growth”, Foreign Minister Pezeshkian noted Iran’s active presence in the BRICS, South African countries and the EAEU, and said that these diplomatic efforts have led to the strengthening of constructive relations with neighboring countries.
He pointed out that this process is being strengthened day by day so that Iran can promote economic activities and support investors’ activities.
The president said at a conference held in Tehran on Saturday that thanks to diplomatic exchanges, a large market is being formed and that Iran is inviting officials from other countries so that Iranian traders and economic actors can play a targeted role in the country’s economic growth and development.
Pezeshkian also stressed that the government must take effective measures to promote commercial and economic activity, and said officials are working to improve efficiency and prevent budget deficits.
The President also emphasized the need to adjust government revenues and budget allocations, and said at the ongoing economic meeting this year that the Cabinet aims to rein in spending.
