In addition to the European troika (UK, France, Germany), the European Union’s unified stance on Iran’s nuclear programme is important, the EU diplomacy chief said in an interview as translated on the Arabic website in Al Jazeera.
She reiterated the European claim that Tehran was supporting Moscow in military operations in Ukraine.
All European countries condemned the military use of humanitarian assistance by Israel, which she said, adding that humanitarian assistance must enter Gaza.
“So in Gaza, everyone condemned the politicization of humanitarian aid. Humanitarian aid had to contact those in need in Gaza, and we were also welcoming Gaza’s Arab Peace Plan or Arab Reconstruction Plan,” she emphasized.
Regarding the Syrian crisis, Karas pointed out that current violence in Syria has led to Europe retreat.
“When it comes to Syria, today’s 9th Syrian Brussels Conference will hear a lot of pledges. Of course, we were discussing the situation and violence against the Syrian people.”
The European Union cannot trust Russia, she added.
