Manucher Moradi, director of the Eurasia Department of Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said Kazakhstan’s announcement of joining the Abraham Accords was a symbolic attempt to lift the Zionist regime out of its global isolation.
He further added that Kazakhstan has had full diplomatic and economic relations with the Zionist regime for more than 30 years, so this new announcement is just an expression of Tel Aviv’s desperation and an attempt on the part of the United States and its allies to relieve global pressure on the Zionist regime due to occupation and genocide.
Moradi stressed that Iran expects all countries in the region to abide by their legal and moral obligations and refrain from actions that would distract public opinion from Israel’s crimes in Gaza, Lebanon and other countries in the region.
