Khamenei also condemned the US president’s bullying and baseless rhetoric, saying the president’s recent actions were aimed at “lifting the Zionist spirit and presenting himself as powerful through lies about Iran, the region and its people.”
he added hastily. “If he really is in power, let’s calm down the millions of people in every state in the United States who are singing against him.”
The leader expressed his joy at meeting the country’s skilled youth and said their victory has special value because today it comes at a time when “the enemy, through psychological warfare, is trying to make the nation hopeless and forget about its own capabilities.”
He dismissed claims of despair among Iranian youth as baseless, stressing that “our dear Iran and its youth are symbols of hope” and that with determination and hard work, Iranian youth “can and will reach the highest peaks.”
