Tehran – The Department of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts in Kamansha have invited 13 Iraq travel agents to the Western Province to attract tourists from neighboring countries and exploit the potential for investment in the tourism industry.
The measures accustomed the institutions to the natural and historical attractions of Karmanshire and align with opportunities for health tourism, reported Milas Alia (CHTN).
During a coordination meeting with the related institutions with the host manager of the Iraq Tourism Agency on Wednesday, Dalyush Farmani, head of the Kermansha Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Bureau, pointed out that with the aim of recruiting agricultural personnel from the Iraq and International Tourism Agency, Tourism Agency, Tourism Agency, Tourism Agency, Tourism Agency, which has benefited from the unique tourism capabilities of Kermansha Province. We have officially invited 13 travel and tourism institutions from Iraq.
He said his invitations were made to institutions operating in the Arab region of Iraq, particularly. This is because these regions are not paying sufficient attention to Kermansha’s tourism capabilities.
Invited institutions have the opportunity to approach and personally reach historic tourist attractions such as ancient and registered monuments, extensive natural attractions, and health tourist facilities in the state.
Farmani continued that these visits are a good opportunity for representatives of these institutions to become familiar with Kermansha accommodation, hotels, hospitals and medical infrastructure, and prepare the ground to combine health and leisure sightseeing tours to attract Iraqi tourists.
He said that during the program several meetings will be held between state travel agents, hoteliers and medical centers to discuss and exchange experiences, host diverse sightseeing tours and expand joint collaboration.
Farmani added that a memorandum of understanding will also be signed between the two parties to develop cooperation and facilitate the process of attracting tourists.
He also said the measure would be an effective step to strengthening foreign tourism, the economic prosperity of the state, and the cultural and economic ties between Kermansha and the Arab region of Iraq.
He noted that targeted use of this ability could play an important role in introducing unique attractions in Karmanshire and increasing tourism-related income.
Kermansha, Bakhtalan, the capital of Kermansha, was founded in the 4th century AD by King Balam IV of the Sasanian dynasty. Conquered by the Arabs in 640, the town was called Qirmasin (Qirmashin). Under the 11th century Seljukruh, it was the main town of Kordestan. The Safavids (1501–1736 and domination) strengthened the town, and the Qajars repelled attacks by the Turks during the control of Fath Ali Shah (1797–1834). It was occupied by the Turkish army during World War I in 1915 and evacuated in 1917. In the 1950s, the construction of roads beyond the old Horasan trucks added a significant addition to the importance of the city.
