The administration reported that 1,538 ships had been called at the port of Fuzestan during the reporting period. These vessels received a wide range of marine services across the state’s port facilities.
Over 5,600 ships of Transportation Services (VTS) operations were implemented to regulate the movement of the ship, but pilot services were provided in over 6,200 cases, covering approximately 19,000 operational hours.
The tugboat supported over 8,000 sales and spent a total of approximately 24,000 service hours mainly in the port of Imam Khomeini.
Seafarer Services remained an important focus. The administration has issued over 10,000 maritime documents, including book on seafarer IDs, certificates of competence and subsidized qualifications.
This reflects the growing demand for certified marine professionals and the efforts of agencies to enhance the preparation of the workforce in compliance with national and international standards.
Environmental protection efforts increased that year. A total of 5,000 cubic meters of vessel-generated waste was collected, but more than 2,500 cubic meters of oil waste was removed from the state’s water.
Authorities also carried out 142 marine pollution response operations and helped maintain clean and safe waterways for navigation.
2.5 million cubic meters of sediment were eded from the Kulmuza waterway and nearby port Zvatha to ensure safe passage of the vessels.
These operations are important to maintain navigation depth and to maintain secure maritime access to the main terminals of Fuzestan.
