Notable growth in knowledge-based companies
The significant and fast growth in the number of knowledge-based companies, which has only grown by 200% in Iran’s year, ended in March 2024, shows a country’s solid foundation in innovation and technology, a productive atmosphere that can be used in line with its goal of boosting domestic production by exposing its dynamism, growth, and domestic production.
The current administration emphasizes quantitative and qualitative development of knowledge-based companies. The number of approximately 5,000 companies in August 2021 is currently at 10,000, at a value of $2 billion.
