Iranian President Masuud Pezeshkian had a telephone conversation with Kuwait Emir Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jabel al-Saba on Wednesday afternoon. During the call, he expanded the celebration to Emil and Kuwait people during Eid Al Fitr. He expressed his hope that the Holy Months of Ramadan and Eid would strengthen the unity and solidarity of the Islamic countries.
“We consider all Islamic countries to be brothers based on the teachings of Kolanick, and we place great importance on fostering good relations with our neighbors, as highlighted by Islamic teachings and narrators,” Pezeschkian said.
The Iranian president further emphasized that Iran is fully prepared for all forms of cooperation to expand relations with Kuwait and other neighboring countries in order to deepen and cement the bonds of brotherly love and good neighbors. “On the issue of reducing tensions, the Islamic Republic of Iran only acts on justice and equity. It does not go beyond the path of justice or accept anything beyond justice and equity,” he added.
Emir Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jabel al-Sabah expanded Eid’s greetings on behalf of himself, the Crown Prince and the people of Kuwait. He expressed his satisfaction with the warm and friendly relations between the two countries, saying, “Kuwait welcomes the constructive and positive message and efforts of excellence that seeks to further strengthen relations with Iran and cultivates deeper relations with neighboring friendly countries.”
Kuwait Emil confirms that Kuwait places importance on friendly relations with Iran’s Islamic Republic and appreciates the growing relationship between Iran and the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (PGCC) countries.
Emphasizing Kuwait’s firm stance on peaceful resolution to regional and international conflicts, the chief emphasized that Kuwait will not allow him to launch attacks from his territory against other countries as Kuwait is embedded deep in the constitution and remains constant under any circumstances.
