TEHRAN – The head of state and the public and private sector of the Latin American political group expressed solidarity with the Iranian state and condemned the Zionist regime’s terrorist strike against Iran.
Tel Aviv’s unprovoked strike has led to widespread condemnation across the world, including Latin America, since Friday, killing many Iranians, including respected military commanders, nuclear scientists and civilians.
Cuban leader Miguel Diaz Canelle said in a statement X that he “strongly condemns Israel’s attacks on the Islamic Republic, denies tensions in the Middle East and endangers international and regional peace and security with unpredictable consequences.”
Officials continued to call for an end to the violence and respect for international law. Venezuela’s Foreign Ministry has also condemned non-giatial, unjust and illegal attacks on Iran.

Venezuelan President Nicholas Maduro condemned Israel’s recent Iranian airstrikes and called Netanyahu the current Hitler.
The Nicaraguan government also denounced “Israel’s reckless attack on the people and government of Iran’s Islamic Republic” and illogical and dangerous military escalations.
This co-sick attack, which violates all laws and norms of coexistence and international treaties, has irresponsibly exposed the world to wars of immeasurable aspects and consequents.
The Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs has also rejected “an escalation of ongoing violence in the Middle East” and has expressed deep concern. The Mexican government also suggested refraining from actions that could put civilian lives at risk.
In response to the Israeli attack, Brazil’s government firmly condemned Israel’s actions and expressed concern over Israeli airstrikes on Friday morning, announcing it as a clear violation of Iran’s sovereignty and international law.
These attacks pose threats that could drag the entire region into wider conflict, as well as serious threats to peace, security and the global economy.
Brazil urged both countries to exercise restraint and avoid military conflict. The Brazilian Workers’ Party (PT) has also condemned Israeli attacks on Iran.
In a statement, the Chilean Communist Party condemned Israeli attacks on Iran and expressed deep concern about targeting Iran’s housing construction and civilian nuclear infrastructure, which is a violation of international law.
The Alba Union, the Bolivar Alliance for our American people, recently issued a statement denounced the occupying regime’s military aggression against Iran.
Gustavo Polas Cortes, a speaker at the Nicaraguan National Assembly, denounced Israel’s attack on the Islamic Republic in a message from Iran’s ambassador to the Islamic Republic, Ramin Zea, expressing his sadness towards the Iranian people and the Iranian government.
In recent days, people from all walks of life have condemned Israel’s attacks on Iran, leading to the killing of many civilians, scientists, well-known figures, and top military commanders.
Türkiye, Slovenia, the UK, Pakistan, the US, Yemen, South Korea and India were among the countries that condemned Israeli invasion.
Balkan insights show that Balkan countries are disappointed about the impact of Israel’s attacks on Iranian nuclear sites and senior security authorities amid fears of a deeper crisis.
“Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government is trying to drag our region and the whole world into disaster with reckless, aggressive and lawless actions,” Turkish President Recept Tayp Erdogan said on Friday. Erdogan also called on the international community to end the conflict.
Slovenian President Natasa Pirkomusar accused Israel of “escalating” the situation. “The Israeli attack on Iran represents an escalation of an already tense and difficult situation in the Middle East and is not connected anywhere,” she writes in X.
Mussein Kabazovich, the Grand Mufti of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Muslim communities, has condemned the attack on Iran.
“While the suffering of the Gaza people has no purpose, we all want the successful international mediation to achieve peace and end the blockade of innocent civilians and hunger, irresponsible politicians are escalating further violence and dragging them into a new spiral of violence.
Protesters gathered on London’s Parliament Square on Saturday afternoon chanted “Stop Iran’s bombing,” “Stop Israel’s armament,” and “Stop genocide.”
Protesters also urged Western countries, particularly the UK, to stop Israeli support and take immediate action to end war crimes against Iran and other countries in the region.
Thousands of people gathered in major Pakistan provinces, including Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan and Kybbar Paktanwa, gathered in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and other cities on Friday afternoon to express solidarity with the country while denounced Israeli invasion of Iran.
Chicagoans responded to the ongoing strike and urged the government to end their support for Israel. Protesters are holding Iran and Palestinian flags, saying placards saying “we will hand over Iran,” “Even if Israel has nuclear weapons (up to 300), isn’t it for Iran?”, “Netanyahu is a war criminal,” and “no Iran war.”
Iemenis also took him to the streets of the capital Sanaa, expressing his support for the Iranian people and condemned Israeli invasion.
In South Korea, Iranian supporters protested outside the Israeli embassy.
Furthermore, during a meeting with Iranian consul Hasan Moseni Fad at the Iranian consulate in Mumbai, a delegation of social and political Indian activists discussed and condemned the recent Israeli invasion of Iran and supported Iran’s rights.
