“I have to offer congratulations to the great nation of Iran on some issues. First, I will congratulate them on victory over the false Zionist regime. Despite all media prpaganda and all the claims, the Zionist regime has almost collapsed and destroyed under the blows handled by the Islamic Republic.
Praying for the commanders and scientists of martyrs who were assassinated by the Israeli regime in the recent attack, Ayatollah Khamenei said that such a strike by the Islamic Republic had never crossed the hearts of its enemies, but they have become reality.
Iranian forces were able to break through the enemy’s advanced defenses and leveled many of its urban and military centres through missile strikes, he said.
He said that Iran’s response made it clear to them that they had to pay a heavy price for invasion of the Islamic Republic. He emphasized that the credit for this achievement belongs to both the Iranian military and the people.
He said, “My second congratulations lie in Iran’s victory over the American regime.” He added that the US attacked Iran directly because he feared that the Israeli regime would be completely destroyed.
However, their intervention had no consequences and failed to cause great damage, he said, adding that their attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities should also be pursued as an independent legal case in the International Court.
Ayatollah Khamenei also said that US President Donald Trump had exaggerated the situation in unconventional ways.
Anyone who hears those statements can say there is another truth beneath the surface, he said, adding that the reality is that they failed to achieve their goals, so they resorted to exaggeration to hide the truth.
“Again, the Islamic Republic won,” he said, “In return, the Islamic Republic has brought a severe slap in the US’s face.”
Iran has targeted Al Udeid, one of their main regional bases and the damage caused by Qatar, he said. “Those who had previously exaggerated it tried to downplay the event, pretending nothing happened, and something big happened.”
He said the fact that the Islamic Republic can hit a local important US base whenever it appears necessary, and that could happen again added that the enemy’s costs certainly high with other attacks.
“My third congratulations are to the extraordinary unity and solidarity of the people of Iran,” he said. He praised him for standing in one powerful country of around 90 million people, sharing demand and supporting the military.
Referring to Trump’s comments that Iranians should “stolen” people, Ayatollah Khamenei said the issue “is no longer about uranium enrichment or the nuclear industry. It’s about making Iran submission.”
“But such a statement is too big for the US president’s mouth,” he said, adding that it is ridiculous to discuss “subordination” with a great nation like Iran.
He said what Trump said revealed the truth. Since the Islamic Revolution began, the US has been seeking conflict with Iran, finding new excuses every time, including human rights, democracy, women’s rights, enrichment, missiles, and more, but behind all these pretexts is the only goal of Iran’s surrender.
Ayatollah Khamenei said that the previous administration, where Trump hid this intention, had hidden it because Trump was “unacceptable.” He emphasized that he would not allow logic to demand the surrender of a great country like Iran.
He added that Iran is a great country with ancient civilizations and the cultural heritage of the United States. “It is nothing but nonsense to expect such a country to surrender. This is certainly ridiculed by wise men and intellectuals.”
In conclusion, he prayed to God for the victory of the Iranian state.
The Israeli regime launched an attack in Iran on June 13th, lasting for the next 12 days. With their overwhelming response to the Israeli regime’s invasion, the Iranian army was forced to call for a ceasefire from the regime and its key supporters. Iran said the troops will keep their fingers on the trigger in case the regime resumes aggression by violating a ceasefire.
