“In fact, the Islamic world needs a point that brings together different parts of it and turns it into one active and efficient unit. Eid Al Fitr is one such point,” Ayatolakhamenei said in a meeting with ambassadors of Islamic countries and Islamic countries on Monday during Eid Al Fitr.
The leader said the current pace of development requires that everyone follow them closely and decide where they stand. “Today, the Islamic government faces this obligation,” he said.
“The Islamic Republic has reached out to all Islamic governments, they are their own brothers and think in the same general terms as them,” Ayatollah Khamenei said.
The leader said that parts of the Islamic world are “severely injured.”
“Palestine is injured. Lebanon is injured. Some of the crimes happening in the region are unprecedented. From the history we have observed or read, it is impossible for anyone to imagine anyone who killed nearly 20,000 children in a military conflict in less than two years.”
The leaders emphasized that Islamic governments should unite to effectively face the unparalleled crimes of the Israeli regimes in Palestine and Lebanon and their supporters.
Earlier in the day, Ayatollah Khamenei led the prayer of Eid al-Fitr.
One of the most important religious holidays celebrated by Muslims around the world, Eid Al Fitr shows the conclusion of Sunset’s fasting from the dawn of 29 or 30 days in the holy month of Ramadan.
