Ayatollah Khamenei spoke with the state about the launch of sacred Defense Week, which marks the 45th anniversary of the invasion of the Iraqi Baasist regime.
The speech was broadcast live on a variety of Iranian media including television and radio throughout the country.
At the start of the televised speech, the leader said the speech would focus on issues of Iran’s unity, uranium enrichment and consultation with the US.
He pointed to the recent 12-day war imposed by the country’s enemies in June, saying that it was the invaders’ goal to defeat Islamic facilities.
Ayatollah Khamenei pointed out that Iranian unity had halted enemy conspiracies, splitting the country and losing enemy conspiracies to defeat Islamic facilities. He noted that the country continues to remain united after months of the 12-day war.
Regarding uranium enrichment, the leaders said Iran’s opposite, the western countries, were in conflict over enrichment.
He explained what enrichment is and added that it is effective and beneficial for people’s lives. He further elaborated on the enrichment of applications in a variety of fields, including agriculture, industry, nutrition, the environment, natural resource conservation, and electricity.
Ayatollah Khamenei said Iran has the capacity to produce high and abundant uranium, but by any means, it does not have nuclear weapons.
The leader pointed out that artillery fire at some Iranian nuclear sites cannot prevent Iran from uranium enrichment as it has become an indigenous science to produce it. He added that Iran has dozens and even hundreds of experts on enrichment.
“Iran is not committed to the pressure and has not done that in the future,” emphasized Ayatollah Khamenei.
Ayatollah Khamenei stressed that talks with the US government would never benefit Iran.
He noted that discussions with the US under these circumstances would instead harm Iran.
Ayatollah Khamenei said Americans are making excessive demands for consultations, including giving up on enrichment and missiles that result from the Islamic Republic’s ignorance.
Ayatollah Khaemenei said the US government is liar and hypocritical and relies on threats and threats to achieve its objectives.
The leader at the end of his speech emphasized that the only choice that Iran has is relying on God to become stronger and stronger in the face of threats.
