In a statement released on Friday morning, the British Prime Minister said this was a “wrong” choice, adding:
“This measure does nothing to end this conflict or help to ensure the release of hostages. It will only bring about more bloodshed.”
The prime minister said that Gaza’s humanitarian crisis had “greater” by that day, and that hostages Hamas filmed were “detained in a frightening and inhuman situation.”
He once again sought an increase in humanitarian aid and a solution for the two states negotiated without Hamas.
The priority states: “Together with our allies, we are working on a long-term plan to ensure peace in the region as part of the two states’ solution and ultimately achieve a brighter future for Palestinians and Israelis.
