South Lebanon – Throughout successive stages of Lebanon’s history, the political Oli arrogance imposed by French mandate falsely referred to the “decision of war and peace” as part of its plan to conquer Lebanon in support of the Israeli occupation regime.
This political olive always falsely claims to be a “sovereign” force, and seeks to openly accept an identity that opposes the Arab identity of the Levantines, and place Lebanon within a sectarian allocation that imposes absolute loyalty and subordination in the western imperialist.
That suspected “sovereignty” was tested by the extent to which it resisted all resistance (local or regional) because its record was full of bloody massacres and corrupt policies. 1958.
In his diary, US President Dwight D. Eisenhower in the 1950s, he asserted that Washington was on his guard against former Egyptian president Gamal Abdel Nasser, particularly after his denial of the Baghdad Agreement, his acceptance of Eisenhower’s doctrine, and his victorious Egyptian refusal from the 1956 attacks by the three-standards on Egypt.
Washington feared that Abdel Nasser’s control over oil resources would guarantee his dream of Arab unity.
From what Eisenhower wrote in his diary, we can understand the true reasoning behind the first American intervention in Lebanon, involving 70 ships, hundreds of aircraft and a force of around 14,000 people.
When Lebanon Army Commander, then Major General Huad Shehab protested, the US President’s envoy to Lebanon Robert Murphy threatened him.
The crisis in Lebanon continued until the Jemaier family took over the presidency. The Hebrew book “1982 – Lebanon, Road to War” reveals that Bashir Jemaiel, leader of the Lebanese Falange Party, decided in 1976 to cooperate with then-Israel Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin.
On September 14, 1982, Khabib Sharthuni assassinated Bashir Jemaiel, who had been promoted to president behind a famous Israeli tank, and was handed over to his brother Amin Jemaiel.
The next day, Israeli War Minister Ariel Sharon arrived at Vikfaya (Lebanese Faranj Party’s base – Lebanese army) to offer his pagh dol offer.
Sharon is greeted by Bashir’s father, Pierre Gemaier. He said to him, “Bashir has informed me of my close relationship with you. I will perpetuate his mission.”
Sharon interrupted him sharply: “I am here only to express my pathetic dol to lose my friend.”
In line with the humiliating “Agreement on May 17”, Hezbollah’s first founding cell met with Imam Khomeini (RA).
Imam Khomeini (RA) told them, “Your situation is not more difficult than us in Iran. The Shah has become even stronger. But it was dependent on God, determination, and the will of the people. We are in Lebanon, we are almighty, and victory is hanging on your forehead.
Brothers Shamon and Jemaiel are two examples of Lebanon’s resistance, political and military, confirming that Lebanon forced the May 17 agreement to cancel, retreat, defeat, and unconditionally forced the occupying enemy.
Nevertheless, stories about “peace and war decisions” continue to be exploited to serve the interests of US-led Israeli offensive alliances against Lebanon, in the blatant stories of “redrawing the map of the Middle East” and “disarmament of Hezbollah.”
Meanwhile, in light of the failure of official Lebanese institutions responsible for “peace and war decisions,” resistance is believed to be the only force that can stand up to the attack and thwart the expansionist project.
