Beirut – Forgetting all the crimes of occupation against the Palestinian brothers and their own people, some of the Lebanese, especially the Pro Israeli team, have rushed to condemn the legitimate Iranian attack on the largest US air force base on the Qatar coast.
In the meantime, the Lebanese government is considering an upcoming visit to Syria by Washington Ambassador Thomas Barrack to Türkiye.
During his visit to Beirut last week, Barracks gave staff a three-week deadline of revisiting Lebanon “to get a clear answer.”
Barack emphasized that his boss, Donald Trump, is “very serious about dealing with Lebanon’s issues, and Lebanese must provide something serious about Hezbollah’s weapons issues.”
The team close to President Joseph Orn reportedly calls for him to withdraw from his Israeli occupied position, cease the attack alongside the Lebanese government and participate in dialogue with Hezbollah over the weapons he possesses.
Regardless of the firm status of the resistance team and its allies, its political enemy is the first to come: disarmament of resistance or Israel’s withdrawal.
Given that the enemy refuses to withdraw or comply with the resolution of a ceasefire, and refuses to assert full disarmament in return without offering promises or guarantees in return, some would like to abandon all their powers in exchange for some.
Barrack’s mission is not limited to disarming Hezbollah alone. His mission also includes financial and economic reforms.
Sources revealed that Barracks described the pace of government reforms as slow. He also raised reservations for several appointments in the country.
Congress President Nabih Berri set June 30th as a draft law related to the $250 million loan and election law, specifically approved by the government.
Meanwhile, Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem spoke in an interview with the Al-Ahed News website, saying, “The basic principle is that the Lebanese state is responsible for protecting its citizens and its homelands.
Sheikh Kasem continued. “The state must put all the pressure on it, use international relations and pressure it on the agreements, particularly those who sponsored the US and France, to withdraw and halt all forms of invasion on Lebanon and its people.”
Regarding the reconstruction of what was destroyed by Israeli attacks in Lebanon, he pointed out that it was a top priority not only for Hezbollah, but for the path and recovery of the Lebanese state.
“We have done this to prevent people from becoming homeless. They are the most honorable people and they must do their best to help them. They must also prevent “Israel” and its allies from preventing the discrepancy between resistance and people.
He continued. “We faced the greatest evil in the world, and with God’s help we organize the situation. We elected the Secretary General. We replaced the leaders who taught us.
Regarding Unifil, Secretary-General Hezbollah said, “We support the continued implementation of UNIFIL’s mission, but we refuse to step over that mission and clash with the population.”
