“I have issued an order to deploy 25,000 members of the Bolivar National Army (FANB) to strengthen the rapid response and tactical groups in the Peace Zone of the Colombian Coast and the Caribbean Coast.
He emphasized that the main purpose of this mobilization is to protect the struggle for national sovereignty, national security and peace.
Previously, on September 6th, US President Donald Trump was considering launching a strike against a drug cartel that is allegedly located in Venezuela as part of his strategy to weaken Maduro. It should be noted that previous strikes by the US military on ships allegedly transporting drugs from Venezuela directly reflect such plans.
