Tehran-Alileza Salimi, a member of Iranian parliament (Majlis), said the double unity bill has been approved to increase penalties for individuals working with the Zionist regime and hostile government, the ISNA reported Tuesday.
Government spokeswoman Fateme Mohajelani said on Monday that at least 45 women and children had been marching in the attacks against the Israeli state in the past few days, with 75 more injured.
Mohajerani released numbers in a televised statement on Monday, showing the Zionist regime’s false claims that civilian casualties would target military sites, news outlets reported.
She condemned the Israeli strike at Farabi Hospital in Kermansha, the Iranian city of Western Iran, and said it was another evidence of the “savage nature” of the infant regime.
Citing national unity as one factor in Iran’s strength, Mohajelani said, “Even those who are unhappy, even all Iranians come to the scene and no one thinks anything but Iran.”
Meanwhile, a government spokesperson urged people not to pay attention to text messages about evacuation in cities, saying they are part of a psychological war.
While banks and financial institutions work, stocks and capital markets are closed to protect people’s assets, she added.
She also thanked the police for promoting traffic flow when people travel outside of Iranian cities.
She also noted that several metro stations were open last night, and the others are open today after they had prepared what they needed to work as shelter.
Also on Monday, Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeli Baghhai condemned the hospital’s attacks as a “war crime.”
“Attacking hospitals and residential areas reportedly directed by the Minister of Defense is a serious violation of Int’l’s law and war crimes. History judges. Eternal shame awaits the government’s supporters and apologists,” he wrote in the X-Post.
Following the US greenlight, Israel launched an attack on Iran early Friday morning, killing dozens of people, including Iran’s high-ranking military commanders, nuclear scientists and civilians.
In response, Iran exercised its inherent right to self-defense under Article 51 of the UN Charter. As part of the retaliation operation, “True Promise III,” it launched waves of missile and drone waves against Zionist groups.
Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, leader of the Islamic Revolution, said Israel had made a major mistake, but the outcome would render the regime powerless.
Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized that Iranian forces will act strong in supporting the state and will take a major blow to the criminal junta.
