After meeting with British Foreign Secretary David Lamy in the Turkish capital, Fidan said, “We guarantee that the agreement between Iran and Israel is supported and that the ceasefire has not been violated and that this is one of the most important strategic objectives at the moment.”
“On the other hand, it is important for us to see the end of the Gaza tragedy through a ceasefire and a solution based on the two state formula,” he pointed out.
Fidan also thanked Ramie for the UK’s decision to lift sanctions against Syria.
Early on June 13, the Israeli regime launched a full attack on Iranian soil by targeting various military and nuclear sites, claiming the lives of dozens of military commanders, nuclear scientists, and ordinary civilians.
In response, Iran launched 22 missile attacks against the regime, forcing key supporters to help them reach a ceasefire.
On June 22, the United States joined the Israeli regime in an attack, bombing three Iranian nuclear sites with serious violations of the UN Charter, international law, and the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
A day later, Iran fired a wave of missiles at Aldead Air Force Base in Qatar, the largest US military base in West Asia.
