TEHRAN – Malaysian Foreign Minister Mohammad Hasan arrived in Tehran on Tuesday afternoon for a diplomatic visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations.
Esmaeil Baqaei, a spokesman for Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, announced that Malaysian officials will be consulting with senior Iranian authorities, focusing on various aspects of the relationship between the two countries. The discussion covers major regional and international developments, reflecting both countries’ commitment to ongoing diplomatic dialogue.
During his visit, Hasan will also meet with senior Iranian officials and explore opportunities to enhance economic cooperation, political coordination and cultural exchange. The consultation addresses pressing geopolitical issues affecting both countries and highlights their shared interest in regional stability and cooperation.
At the beginning of February, the Iranian Foreign Minister called to discuss this with his Malaysian counterpart. In a telephone talk, Araguchi welcomed the growing trends in relations between Iran and Malaysia. The two officials also spoke about the Gaza crisis, denounced plans to drive Gaza people out of their lands, and announced that the forced displacement of Gazan equals an unacceptable ethnic cleansing.
