TEHRAN – Seyed Javad Musavi of the Khorasan Razabi Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Bureau said on Tuesday that Mashhad’s 18th International Tourism and Handicrafts Fair will be held in the state’s capital.
He also said the event will be held in line with realizing this year’s slogan, “Investment for Production,” CHTN reported.
With his annual message marking the beginning of the new Iranian year (1404 in the Persian calendar), the leader of the Islamic Revolution, which he dubbed Ayatollah Seiyed Ali Khamenei “Investment for Production.”
Musabi continued that the fair will be held from May 14th to 17th.
He explained that countries of the Khorasan civilisation, including Afghanistan, Tajikisaton, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, were invited to the four-day event.
He also said many exhibitors from several other Iranian provinces and several foreign representatives will also be taking part in the fair.
Mashhad, the regional capital, is Iran’s most sacred and second-largest city. Its reasoning and main sights are the Imam Reza (AS), an impressive, huge shrine complex of eighth Shia Imam.
