Rashidian said that given the importance of Hajj and Umrah to the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, President Massoud Pezeshkian had prepared a special message for the Hajj to Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, which was conveyed by the President.
He added, “I hope this message will be a message of friendship and the development of bilateral relations towards a better future for both countries and closer cooperation.”
Referring to the negotiation process between Iran and Saudi Arabia for next year’s Hajj, the head of an Iranian hajj organization said, “Today, together with colleagues from the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Saudi Arabia, we had a good meeting with the Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah. During the meeting, it was emphasized that the Islamic Republic will continue to implement the same actions and plans as last year, and that the Saudi side will fully cooperate.” It was the same last year. ”
“Given the coordination and follow-up of executive contracts with Saudi companies, we are following up on the upcoming Hajj to ensure that it can be performed in health, dignity, safety and comfort for all pilgrims in our country next year,” he continued.
