TEHRAN – Major General Abdulrahim Musavi, chief of staff for Iranian military forces, declared on Sunday that Iranian combat forces are maintaining a “peak of operational preparation” to bring about a catastrophic retaliatory strike against new attacks.
The statement was made at a high-level meeting with Hojjatoleslam Ahmadreza Ahmadreza Pourkhaqan, head of the military judiciary body, which emphasized that General Musavi is ready to “provide Iranian warriors “more decisive and regretful guidance than before.”
“Through the 12-day war imposed, we witnessed God’s grace, the exceptional leadership of Ayatollah (Seyed Al) Khamenei, and the unshakable support of our nation,” said the Top General.
He believes in national unity by enabling the spiritual guidance of this Triad, its strategic orders, and Iran’s successful defense against the US Zionist attacks.
The rally was specially recognized by Major General Mohammad Bagheli, a former chief of staff who taught martyrs early in the Israeli regime’s invasion campaign on June 13, paying tribute to martyrs in recent conflict.
Pourkhaqan praised the sacrifice of the military as “a precious and enduring capital for the Iranian nation and a golden chapter in our glorious history.”
General Musabi’s warning is a 22-wave missile barrage of missiles that struck strategic Israeli forces, intelligence reporting agencies and industrial infrastructure during Operation True Promise III during the 12-day war.
Despite Israel’s drastic and unprecedented military censorship aimed at covering the devastating effects of Iran’s missile strikes, many military analysts have confirmed that the operation will cause a crippling and irreversible blow to the regime’s war equipment, severely dismantling offensive capabilities and destroying strategic stances.
US President Donald Trump publicly acknowledged its effectiveness, saying that “Israel was hit hard.”
Air defense capabilities: Completely restored
In related developments, Admiral Mahmoud Musavi, Deputy Director of Operations (Artesh), Iran today confirmed that Iran has fully restored its air defense network by replacing a system that was damaged during the 12-day war.
Despite the intentional targeting of the Israeli regime’s radar system and air defense facilities in the first wave of electric attacks, Iranian air defense forces quickly regained operational vigilance, demonstrating a level of resilience and tactical adaptability that surprised many observers.
“The enemy tried to destroy Iran’s defensive capabilities, and some systems were damaged,” Admiral Musabi said. “However, through the efforts of our comrades, the damaged system was replaced and deployed in place.”
Rapid repairs – achieved using domestically produced systems and strategic reserves – ensured uninterrupted coverage of Iranian airspace.
Admiral Musabi dismissed enemy propaganda and exaggerated the extent of damage and “used the exchange with existing systems to maintain full airspace security.”
“It’s important to note that new deployments are located at previously designated sites, and we are fundamentally restructuring Iran’s air defense stance to increase resilience to future attacks.”
