In a strong message, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragci dismissed Israel’s threat as “separated from reality,” and warned that a military strike would meet immediate retaliation.
This is the full statement by the top Iranian diplomats posted on X social media platforms.
The Israeli fantasy that Iran can decide what Iran might do is so separate from reality that it is not worthy of a response.
What’s impressive, however, is that President Trump bravely tells him what he can and cannot do with diplomacy with Iran.
Conveniently, Netanyahu’s allies of the failed Biden team that failed to reach a deal with Iran are misleading indirect negotiations with the Trump administration as another JCPOA.
Let me clarify:
Iran is very confident enough in its ability to block attempts by malicious external parties to hamper foreign policy or to direct its course. I hope that our US counterparts will remain as steady.
Many Iranians no longer believe that the JCPOA is sufficient. They seek tangible dividends. Netanyahu’s allies of the failed Biden team will not say or change this reality.
There is no military option, and certainly no military solution. The strike will return and go straight away.
US President Donald Trump recently said he is “very confident” that his administration could sign a contract with Iran on Tehran’s nuclear program.
“I think we’re doing very well in the situation in Iran. I think that’s where the deal will be,” Trump told White House Pool reporters at Morristown Airport in New Jersey.
Iran-US negotiations in Muscat’s Oman capital on Saturday ended with a negotiating team agreeing to hold the next round of talks next week.
“The debate between experts in Iran and the US delegation has progressed and we have reached details about mutual expectations and demands,” Iran’s national television and radio correspondent said in the report.
“The technical consultations between Iran and the US delegation have progressed and reached a detailed stage,” the IRIB reporter added.
