President Pezeshkian said in separate messages to Thailand’s King Maha Vajiralongkorn and Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul on Friday that the historical and cultural ties between Iran and Thailand date back more than 400 years.
In his congratulatory message to the Thai King, Foreign Minister Pezeshkian said that while Iran and the Kingdom of Thailand are celebrating 70 years of diplomatic relations, the two countries’ historical and cultural ties date back more than 400 years.
“I am confident that this historic path will continue towards the prosperity of both countries and the strengthening of international and regional peace and stability,” the President said.
In a separate message to the Thai Prime Minister, Mr. Pezeshkian stressed that the two countries will further strengthen cooperation in all fields, taking into account their historical backgrounds.
