Leaders outline social security policy
In April 2022, Ayatollah, the leader of the Islamic Revolution, outlined the policies that Ali Khamenei aimed at achieving social security goals in line with the objectives of the constitution.
The policy aims to improve social welfare, remove poverty and support the elderly, disabled and uncaregivered people.
Reaching the goal involves an efficient, justice-based, comprehensive management system consistent with Islamic and Iranian patterns, and encourages public participation to expand services to underprivileged people living in urban and rural areas.
Bridging social gaps through reforming subsidies schemes, promoting a job creation culture, removing barriers to public resources for all, and providing fertility services to families aim to increase population growth.
In his New Year’s message, Ayatollah Khamenei urged the government and the country to work hard to boost knowledge-based production and create new jobs.
The leaders emphasized the importance of boosting domestic production, as they have done in the past few years. He stated that his very focus on production is that it “boosting economic growth, creating jobs, reducing inflation, increasing per capita income, and improving public welfare.”
“It also has psychological consequences, as it increases the confidence of the people and creates a sense of dignity for the people.
