Tehran – Ali Larijani, an advisor to the leader of the Islamic Revolution, stressed Ali Khamenei as Seyed Ali Khamenei and that national unity is important for Iran’s success in the face of external pressure.
Speaking about recent developments, Larijani highlighted Iranians’ deep sensitivity to the dignity of their people, noting that President Trump’s remarks have hurt the nation’s collective spirit. Nevertheless, he emphasized that Iran remains immobilized in supporting its principles and honor.
Larijani warned that as Iran achieves a major victory, the enemy will soon face defeat. He called on the Iranian people to unite in support of their leaders and the military without showing any signs of weakness.
He also noted that supportive messages from various countries reflected how Iranian resistance was a source of inspiration, particularly as regional responsiveness against the Zionist regime became more prominent.
Tackling internal dynamics on us, Larijani criticized the lack of unity in American leadership. While acknowledging the existence of thoughtful voices in America, he explained that he lacked much advice to decision makers. He accused Trump of recent statements of recklessness, noting that former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s attempts to mitigate the damage, Iran’s demands for surrender continued unabated.
Larijani emphasized that Iranians will never compromise on the dignity of their people. He recalls Trump’s previous tests and failures of this dignity, and only strengthened Iran’s resolve before buying it during negotiations and relying on the threat of military action.
