Israel’s Daily Haretz said on Friday that around 100,000 Palestinians were killed in the Israeli war of massacres over Gaza, which accounts for about 4% of the territory’s population.
The death toll is inconsistent with the number of deaths given by Gaza’s Ministry of Health, which has been more than 56,300 since October 2023.
Haretz said in addition to the deaths of Palestinians from the Israeli attacks, many people died from indirect effects of the war, including hunger, cold and illness amid the collapse of Gaza’s healthcare system.
While Israeli spokesman, journalists and influencers have rejected it with knee jerks, Daly rejected the disgust of the deaths, which was announced to be exaggerated by the Gaza Ministry of Health, and more and more international experts have said, “This list is not only embodied, it is reliable, but may even be very conservative in reality.”
Professor Michael Spagat, an economist at Holloway University at the University of London, cited a study conducted by Professor Michael Spagat, a world-class expert on mortality rates in violent conflicts over deaths in Gaza.
The survey examined 2,000 households in the Palestinian enclave, including around 10,000 people.
“They concluded that as of January 2025, around 75,200 people had violently died in Gaza during the war.
According to data from the survey, 56% of those killed were either children or women up to the age of 18.
“That’s an exceptional number when compared to almost every other conflict since World War II,” Harlettz said.
Spagat said the data from the investigation positioned the Gaza War “as one of the bloodiest conflicts of the 21st century.”
