Zafargundy said on Monday that around 1,800 people have been killed since Israel began launching strikes against Iran on June 13th.
Regarding the attack on QUDS Square in northern Tehran, he said the explosion had injured 59 people and 12 people succumbed to the wounds. Among the people killed on the site were pregnant women, he added.
The minister also said he had 35 women and 10 children who lost their lives in the Israeli strike in Iran.
The Israeli regime began a strike on June 13th in an unattacked offensive act on overnight, including residential buildings. When the house was hit directly, the civilian died. The entire population center was affected. Shortly afterwards, Iran launched a punitive strike deep within Israel, attacking Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Haifa, gaining ballistic missiles and drones, and Israelis spent every day in underground bomb shelters.
Since then, a wave of Iranian strikes has reached deep within Israel. Despite the intense Israeli censorship, there is a wealth of footage showing an Iranian missile hitting a target on a precise strike. Iranian officials say the mission will continue as long as necessary.
