The request was made within the past 48 hours, with the intention of supplementing the Israeli regime’s efforts with American capabilities amid an ongoing war with Iran, according to a report by American News website Axios, issued early Sunday.
These abilities reportedly include ammunition and heavy bombers that destroy bunkers.
The report said the Tel Aviv regime is particularly sought a potential joint attack targeting Iran’s Falauuran enrichment facility in northern Iran.
On Friday, Israel’s US ambassador, Yethiel Reiter, stressed that “the entire operation must be completed with the removal of Fordor.”
However, on the same day, Iranian Atomic Energy Organization (AEOI) confirmed that the Fodow facility had not experienced “any major accident” amid the brutal attacks of the Israeli regime at various locations around the country that began on the same day.
Officials in the Israeli administration have not ruled out the possibility that US President Donald Trump willingly support an attack on the Islamic Republic.
An Israeli source told the Axios website that Washington is considering requesting that it participate in Tel Aviv’s military campaign.
However, White House officials denied that such commitments were made while talking to the Axios reporter on Friday.
Despite this obvious rejection, media reports have shown that the US provided Israel with hundreds of sophisticated laser-guided air-to-air missiles, particularly designed for a precise strike, before the administration carried out its latest attack on Iran.
American officials, including Trump himself, have expressed support for the complete dismantling of Iran’s nuclear program and demands complicating the Iranian-US nuclear talks.
However, the Islamic Republic has resolutely refused to abandon peaceful nuclear activities, citing their legitimate qualifications under international law.
In response to Israeli attacks, Iran launched massive missile and drone strikes on Palestinian territory occupied on Friday and Saturday, acting in self-defense.
