The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a strong condemnation of recent remarks made by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding his desire to realize the so-called “Greater Israel” scheme.
In a statement Wednesday, spokesman Bagheyey described the scheme as an unmistakable declaration of the regime’s intention to expand it to independent countries such as Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria, Press TV reported.
He added that such ambitions represent blatant violations of the UN Charter and fundamental principles of international law.
Emphasizing the permanent violations and cruelty of the regime, particularly the continued occupation and systematic killings in historic Palestine, Baggii said “there is an acknowledgement that he considers to carry the “historical and spiritual mission” by the Israeli Prime Minister, and that realizing the demonic idea is a clear sign of fascist intentions.”
The realization of such a conspiracy would lead to violations of territorial integrity and the imposition of national sovereignty in the regional countries, as well as occupation on Muslim countries, officials warned.
Such ambitions had to be firmly condemned as a blatant violation of the United Nations Charter Cooperation Organization (OIC), and the United Nations Charter principles and purposes, and as a blatant violation of the forceful norms of international law.
Baguei also attracted attention for the tragic humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip, where the administration has been fighting a genocide war since October 2023 and uses hunger as a weapon of war.
He pointed to the massive killing of innocent Palestinians and the intentional imposition of hunger and thirst on the coastal sliver population.
Officials urged Arab and Muslim countries to strive to enable the provision of essential aid to the Gaza people, resist occupation and apartheid, end genocide, and ensure that Zionist perpetrators faced full accountability and punishment.
