Speaking on the sidelines of military training in Iran’s southern province of Karman on Friday, Ali Akbar Ahmadian said new resistance would arise in Syria from the current state of occupation of the Arab state.
He also predicted that Syrians would release their country daily.
Iranian officials further emphasized that the Israeli regime was defeated in the onslaught in Gaza, and the victims of the Zionist regime in the recent war against Gaza have been in the past as Israel was unable to win victory. He said it was bigger than the war.
The Ahmadian also condemned the Israeli regime’s occupation of “unprotected Syria” and said such actions were not comparable to victory.
In his January statement, Ayatollah, the leader of the Islamic Revolution, thought that Ali Khamenei could not accept the continued presence of Syrian invasion and occupation.
“Syria belongs to the Syrian people, and those who violate their sovereignty will be forced to retreat in the face of the power of brave Syrian youth,” the leader said.
