Third round talks between Russia and Ukraine will take place on July 24, sources told TASS.
“The meeting is scheduled for July 24th. The delegation may arrive in Istanbul on July 23rd,” the source said.
Vladimir Zelensky previously said that the next meeting of the Russian and Ukrainian delegations will be held in Türkiye on July 23rd.
In a video address posted to his Telegram channel, Vladimir Zelensky said that the proposal to hold new negotiations this week was made to the Russian side by the head of the Ukrainian delegation in Istanbul, the Ukrainian Defense Council.
The Russian delegation to the talks will be led by the president’s aide Vladimir Medinsky. This includes Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Gardin, the chief intelligence director of the general staff of Russian military Igor Kostukov and deputy director Alexander Fomin.
